Perfect place for basic science and children who are at the right age to learn basic concepts of science. Light, vibration, physics, laws of motion...i liked it : )

Absolute must see with children; highly rated; it will be hard to leave

This took our family by surprise. The best science museum I've been to so far in Germany and very well set out. There is just so much to do and we have a 3 and 6 year old who were never bored. We did see the fire tornado and that was interesting. One of the hits was seeing different stages of chickens hatching from eggs into chicks...great concept for kids. It would be worthwhile to go to Wolfsburg on a day trip just for this museum for families.

Perfect day activity fot the curious kid inside you

Just wonderful. As an architect, I visited because it is a work from Zaha Hadid Architects, and they never disappoint. Ended up staying 4 hours inside for other reasons though, there are just so many things to see, discover and experiment inside Phaeno I am positive that if we had more time we could very easily spend the whole day inside.

If I ever have a child, this is the place I dream of bringing my kid to, is just a paradise for curious kids and it was amazing to see so many families having fun together.

This Building (across from the railway station)looks very striking from the outside but is just amazing inside! After lunch in the cafeteria, it was time to explore the many, many interactive displays. There were many families enjoying the center when we visited and there was something for all ages! The high standard of the displays are well laid out in each section and some demonstrations are conducted at various times. Lockers are provided for personal items. The best place to learn and explore different aspects of science, for young and not so young!!

Pre-teeen boy’s heaven

If in Berlin and are looking to do a thing or two with a pre-teen (11 year old) than it is worth spending money to travel to and see this place. Wed have been to quite a number of science centres and this is not the biggest, however it is by far one of the best. Everything is interactive. I mean everything. Exhibits range from simple illusions, physics, bodies, nature to actual experiments in the lab. Well worth a visit.
The restaurant is affordable and food is quiet good. It's a standard kids menu of pasta and pizza but it tastes quiet good. There is area where you can leave language if required. Museum is right outside train station.

We visited this museum in 2018 and it was amazing! Plenty of things to learn and to discover. We spent there easily half a day. Worth the visit!

A really high quality inter-active science centre with things to interest people of all ages, interests and abilities. We were there from 9a.m to 4p.m and were not bored and didn't manage to do everything Great value for money and an unbeatable option on a wet and cold day!!
