It's an old warehouse that houses many automobile restoration garages and these beauties are on display for the public (for free). A little cumbersome to get to this place and I had to take a tram and a bus from Hauptbahnoff, the central train station. But once you're there, its a real treat but only if you are a real car/bike lover. My wife, who is quite indifferent to cars, lost interest within the first 5 minutes. However, I got to see many ageless classics like the Lincoln, DMC, NSU etc. You could easily cover this place in 1 hour unless you would also like to see some of the restoration work that goes on inside the garages. There is also a fancy restaurant in the same warehouse and it looked a little odd and out of place.

Inside a former port loading and unloading shed called Schuppen 1. Several restaurants and a very great number of Old timers on display all free of charge.

I had read about this place on Trip Advisor. Being a car lover I thought it was worth a visit on the day I was in Bremen. It's located a little way out from the town center and I took a tram which has a stop nearby. It was then about a ten minute walk to the location which is a large industrial building. There weren't many people about and not a lot of activity it seemed so I simply went in through the main doors at the front of the building and started to wander around.
There are long rows of workshops which are separate businesses involved in car restoration and sales and other automotive related activities. There were plenty of interesting cars parked around which you could get a close look at.
The whole place seems to be run along the same sort of lines as the Classic Remise operation which I went to in Berlin. It's a business location but it seems as if nobody minds if you just want to have a nose about.
All in all if you like looking at classic cars and car related activity then it's worth a visit if you are in Bremen.

If you like cars, especially old cars, you will find really nice ones here. You will meet guys who are working on restoration.

Previously a large industrial building now converted along similar lines to Classic Remise in Dusseldorf and Berlin, though the building is smaller and not historic.
It is located in the former docks area not far from the city centre in the vicinity of Uberseestat and close to Europahafen. Currently being regenerated with shops, restaurants, apartments etc.
The bays on the ground floor are used by automotive related businesses but there is a small restaurant and rather pleasant coffee shop.
A good selection of old cars are displayed along the main corridor, many of which are of German origin c. middle of last century. Some are for sale but many appear to be just on display. Lots of motoring relating memorabilia too.
Entrance is free and unrestricted and this was an interesting way of spending a couple of hours.
Walking along and exploring the old dockside would be very pleasant on a sunny day.
