It took us 5 days to find an authentic German bar experience and in Anna's we found it. It's pretty rustic but great experience. It was recommended to us by the Wine Shop next door where we also had a fantastic experience Good wine, tasty simple food (we had meatballs & potato salad), warm friendly service by a welcoming bar tender (20/10/16 @ 9pm) - he gave us great service. Lots of locals. Smoking which is a bit weird - but didn't spoil our evening.Great value.

Nestled down a side street just off Grobe Hamburger Strabe, my husband and I found this quaint little bar. A table outside on the pavement proved a welcome resting spot, until it rained when we headed inside. As the only tourists inside we were made to feel welcome and sat at the bar sheltering from the rain, a few beers later we strolled back to our hotel. Nice little place, would return.
