Awesome park, lots to do and a lot of walking around - you’ll enjoy it for a day out

Britzer Garten is an enormous park, with lots of shade and hydration points. It’s a great place to be, spend time with your kids, smell some fresh air etc.

Be aware that most shops in the park are cash only, and some accept only German cards. All of this can be avoided with a bit of cash, but be aware.

This garden is huge - so big it can be difficult to get around in a day. I strongly recommend bringing your kids. There are multiple playgrounds including a water playground, and they are all fun! There are also flower gardens, and regular events, but I am mostly only familiar with the kids' activities.

Awesome, my favorite park in Berlin

Huge and diverse park. Even if it's sometimes quite crowded near the entrance due to playgrounds; you can be have a calm stroll due to the big area. You have plenty of water, but you are not allowed to swim.

What a beautiful place! A hidden gem as my German friend told me. The dahlias are incredible at this time of year. So peaceful yet so close to the centre of the city.

Oh, the tulips - just beautiful. Beautiful fountains too but they were not turned on when we visited (late April). It was a gorgeous sunny day and lots of local folks were enjoying the gardens. But it never felt too crowded because it is huge! Also in the garden, there was a big field with sheep!
I enjoyed it much more than Tiergarten.

Britzer Garden is a fabulous place to get away from the noise of Berlin. There is a small entrance fee. The tulips are fabulous in late April/early May. The rhododendrons are spectacular in May. The entire park is lovely. It's a great place to take a peaceful walk. Highly recommended.

After Teergarden I didn't expect to be equally taken aback by Britzer Gardens!!!!

In a city with so much green as Berlin a park like that cannot surprise the visitor.However, it is such the display of all sorts of flowers and herbs, whether in Spring or Autumn that I just wanted to share my experience on a sunny April day there.Lakes, gardens, cafes..the place to relax after a busy day

A very good place to take a walk or ride a bike or even to go for a run. Just a beautiful park in the middle of this big city of Berlin, and very easy to fall asleep for hours in its grass ..!

The last sunny Sunday in autumn we went to the site of the Federal Garden Show 1985, today one of the most attractive gardens and recreational areas of Berlin. At Britzer Garden, there are many ways to spend your leisure time in a relaxed manner. Ten hectares of lakes, theme gardens such as the rose garden, a geological garden and a witch garden invite you to stroll around and enjoy. The great outdoor laboratory hosts a permanent exhibition, we came here for the spectacular Dahlias Fire. Whoever has become exhausted from having walked through large garden can lay down with an icecream on the free sun loungers or pay a visit to one of the three restaurants – Café am See, Bistro am Kalenderplatz or Restaurant Britzer Mühle. At Kalenderplatz, the largest sundial in Europe is found. Children will especially enjoy the large playground with glaciers and deserts, rocks and a water landscape or take a ride with the little park train.
