Did I really pay 14 EUR for this? Diaappointing drink, music, prices and entertainment. All regrets, minimal fun.

Good people. Fun place. It’s mainly a party place after 10. Some small things to eat but it’s more a party place. Young crowd that is very mixed.

We popped in here on a high after a fantastic few days in Paris.
The place itself was a bit grubby, but decided to go in seeing we were in the area and read some ok reviews. The bar staff were fake and pretended that us getting two beers for €24 (yes 24 euros!) was a good deal! Being in good spirits we took it on the chin. 30 mins in, the music was terrible...(afwul Euro reggae). At this point, an agressive barman told us if we didn't check our coats we would have to leave. We questioned this and were told to 'get out'. I speak rudimentary French but when it was clear we weren't local we were asked to leave. It wasn't just us, but we were astonished that all customers were asked to leave just because we were wearing coats. Honestly, give this place a wide birth....

We made this our regular apero place whilst in Paris- the staff were welcoming and the drinks well priced.

First time for us in Paris, and we really had fun that night ! we were just passing by the street when we felt that people were really enjoying so we went in, we did not regret this last minute night-out ! Stuff was incredibly nice, music was so good ! Thank youuuu Bananaaaaa

It was celebrating night and we drank worth for over 100 EUROS. Instead of getting any complementary drinks, the woman in the service was really rude and moreover they almost made us pay for a cocktail we didn't even take. Positively, and firstly we thought that maybe the service woman was too exhausted.
Later, at the time of payement, we had a scene with this woman over 20 euro that she thought she returned to us. We fought till last that we never got our 20 euro back until the 'responsable' of the bar came. We were really saddened by his way of dealing with the issue. Instead of calming down the rude noisy service woman and my friend, he instead came shouting at us, "if you raise one more word, you would never enter this bar anymore". He didn't even put an effort to listen to our words and instead been behaving more rude to us. I tried my best to make him understand what had been happening but this is how to responded, "I speak English but I don't feel like".
I felt its his very poor sense of commercialism with "bon clients" like us because we visit this bar once in every week. Maybe its because we are 'other' and thats why it seems more inappropriate and rude to talk back in anger. in short very dishonest and aggressive service.

I asked why I had to pay a cover charge on a Wednesday night and the bouncer *literally* pushed me out - saying in French that theu dont want me. it was incredible!!!!

Rating less than terrible. Bad experience. The drinks are not better than what you can do cheaper at home and they have a very racist barman.

Vraiment un endroit où le grand patron qui a réussi à mettre les deux associés dans sa poche et qui dit à ces videurs qu’il aime pas que sa clientèle ne doit pas beaucoup se mélanger avec les noirs et les arbres pour sélectionner que des blanc mieux vaut de ne plus y aller l’ambiance zéro elle est plus comme avant 😨😨😱😱
