Heard there was an interesting exhibit at this fine old Victorian mansion so we walked over to it from the promenade. Turns out the building only opens in the afternoon. Also the exhibit isn't about the subject the Office of Tourism led me to believe was being exhibited. My poor French or their poor English... Bad enough the subject was less interesting than I thought. They suggested seeing it without paying attention to the opening hours. No matter. I got to see the building up close.

Oh Mon Dieu - what a coast what a beach! Spectacular cove beach - not too long, huge victorian villas , plenty cafes , gr 34 pathway, views across to St Malo (or boat ride also ) & we managed to get a free carpark very near ! A photographer's dream this whole area.
