I purchased the tickets for the whole family, us Grandparents, my children and grand children but was amazed by the whole experience right across the age groups.
Its now January but the day at the Enchanted Forest is still being spoken about now.

Took the in laws to the enchanted Forrest , their first time there and loved it. We have been before and although it was good I think I will give next year a miss. Drink selection could be better. Very well organised.

A must for both old and young. However it is dark so any one with visual impairment may struggle slightly as the wooded path can be uneven. Perfect place for a family event.

We visited in November and enjoyed it immensely.

Good stuff:
Engaging for adults and young children
Pathways are smooth and experience is suitable for wheelchairs or children’s pushchairs
Plenty of toilets
Helpful friendly staff (assisting children off and on the bus, providing advice)

Stuff to be aware of:
The parking in the town is limited, you will be fined if you park illegally, yes even at 9pm.
Make time to park.
Bring cash, trees do not have ATMs, but I think the food stall accepted card payment.

Truly enchanting

We are two seniors who were really enchanted with this visit, the whole thing was wonderful, the light show and music amazing.Walking was easy and felt very safe underfoot.The staff so friendly and helpful, all in all a truly incredible experience, would recommend this trip to everyone,look forward to another visit.

Reach for the sky...A shining light

Our three year old loved it and so did we...Second visit, and we were not disappointed - I wasn't sure what to expect, thinking it would be very similar to last year, but how wrong I was...

....new year and new theme...this year's was cosmos, and they certainly reached the stars with this one...the Easter fountain was excellent, the spaceman a show stopper.

If you have never been, it's definitely worth a visit.

Very colourful and bright

Visited Enchanted Forest on trip to Pitlochry. Enjoyed our visit but only complaint was the lack of seats. There were plenty around the food outlets but virtually none elsewhere. My friend and I are both in our mid seventies and would have appreciated a few benches to have a wee rest on during our transit of the Forest. The guests may well be mainly children and their families but many grandparents looked as knackered as we on the way round.

I have wanted to do this trip for a long time so drove from Aberdeen and boy was it worth it! Pitlochry itself was as busy as always and very pretty with fairy lights in shop windows etc. A luxury coach with commentary took us on the very short trip from Fischers Hotel to Faskally Woods and we were then free to stay as long as we chose with return coaches every 15 mins. Wrap up warm with cosy footwear, gloves, scarf and hat as it does get cold but the light shows are incredible, the music and the synchronised light patterns amazing and it was so relaxing! There are hot marshmallows, wood fired pizzas, mulled cider and wine etc for sale along the way to keep you warm and the little kids can toast their own marshmallows which we did too. Lots to see and good walking surfaces. Walk went in a figure of 8 and there are helpful volunteers all along the route with useful information.
It was well worth the 4 hour return trip and I'll definitely go back again. I would recommend this without hesitation, for all ages.

We went for this festival in particular. There was an easy route around and easy to get through to different areas if you followed the path. Bus was easy to catch although a large queue coming back. Well organised. Some lovely lights, particularly the ones dangling in a large area and the marshmallows and hot chocolate was good, but expensive.

What an absolute waste of time and money. We would have been better taking all 6 kids for a walk in the local park with a torch and their imagination to amuse themselves.
One very good CGI display on the water and absolutely nothing else. 6 kids ranging from 2 - 11 years old absolutely bored. Four adults wishing they'd stayed at home. We spent the whole night apologising to them for dragging them out on a cold dark night for what amounted to nothing more than an expensive walk through the woods. Nothing of any description to amuse kids and even less for adults
The word enchanted suggests to me mystical, fairy tail like. I cannot think of any word(s) to describe this event. It is most definitely one to be avoided.
