Well back again in one of the most quietist spots in the area.
As always lovely and clean Comfortable Cozy and Warm.
Check in is simple .Check out was simple. and the welcome pack is always appreciated.
Had a lovely relaxing time and of course not forgetting Auntie Nellies for breakfast.

Fantastic place, We used it as a base whilst we travelled Wales on the motorbikes. Very clean and tidy cabin. Quiet location and beautiful views. Very good value for money with lovely and friendly hosts.

Having recently stayed here, we had a few issues in relation to disabled access, but following discussions with the owner, they were really helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to speak to me and for your kindness and consideration in helping to resolve our issues.
The views from the property are stunning and it is really peaceful - shame about the weather, but we shouldn't expect different from a British Summertime :-).
Nice touch in that the owner provided tea, coffee, sugar and milk - we only drink decaff, but the thought was there. Also, lovely fresh eggs and a packet of biscuits were provided.
Personal choice, but would prefer towels to be provided and to pay a little extra for the option.

My family and I went here on holiday in December. We always go on holiday near Christmas, usually in a cabin. It was roughly an hour and a half, which is decent (I know that doesn’t change the actual experience of the cabin but I’ll put it in anyway).
We got there, and it was in a lovely place, to be honest. The view was beautiful and it was warm when we got inside.
However, transferring the suitcases from our car (which was in the only car park that there was) was difficult. It was a rocky journey down the path from the car park to our cabin, which was inconvenient. Some of the kitchen tiles were scratched and very worn out, and the beds were uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on thin cardboard.
The style was also very outdated, and the TV was absolutely tiny! We had to squint just to have a slight idea of what was going on.
But, it was lovely to be greeted by the lovely horses outside. We got some lovely photos and they were very sweet.
We had a fire one of the nights, and although it was pretty fun, the wood was pretty terrible. We paid £30 for the fire, which, wasn’t terrible, but for what it was, I think it was a bit overpriced.
The way that the rooms were set out, though, was nice. It was easy to walk around and the wood was lovely. Now, we went at Christmas, so there were lights on the wooden balcony outside. There were two sets, and one of them didn’t work. I know that isn’t the most important thing in a cabin/hotel, but it would have been nice if they did.

this was for xmas with my family and it was lovely the cabin was beautiful, couldnt fault anything the ladies that took us on the pony trek was wonderful and made the experince! definatly going back. i visited 2019

It was our second visit here andJust like the first visit it was fantastic.
Owners are very friendly and helpful.
The Log Cabins are set in a magnificent location with views that stretch to the distant hills .It was so relaxing and peaceful watching all the birds foraging for berries and also watching the horses getting ready for their treks.
An easy self check in and hassle free with a nice small surprise welcome pack.
Cabins are well equipped warm and very clean.Beds were nice and comfy so to sum up Location Wonderful,Cabin Wonderful Will there be a third visit?

Absolutely amazing trek through the hills today! Staff were great! made to feel comfortable and at ease ☺️ not to forget how well behaved and friendly the horses are!🙂 (Big thanks to duke and cash🐴🐴)

What a great way to spend a few hours out in the countryside! Thank you to Jan, Emma and of course Rio and Johnny Cash!
I hadn’t ridden for many years and my boyfriend had never been on a horse before. We were guided through the whole thing safely from start to finish with patience, good humour and professionalism.
My boyfriend can’t wait to do it again – we will be back!

We had a four night stay this month and had an absolutely wonderful time. The lodge was brilliant. They were a little rough around the edges in places, but absolutely perfect for our needs. We'd never been to Shropshire and to be honest only really chose it because this accommodation was the most spacious for our family; similarly priced places in more well-known destinations were tiny little studio apartments so we chose accommodation over destination and were really glad we did.
The kids did the pony-trekking and it was the highlight of their holiday. Within a radius of a 30 minute max drive there was so much to do, we could have easily managed to stay twice the duration without running out of places to see and things to do. There were a lot of flies, to be expected when you're adjacent to a stables and surrounded by ponies and to be fair, the kids quickly came to enjoy spotting and swotting!
We'd all be more than happy to return in the future.

Hi wondered how much it would cost for 2 adults, 2 children and toddler and if it's possible for us to do 1hr riding or what would best...many thanks in advance x

Do you cater for nervous riders? I am a rusty rider (62 yrs young!) ex-horse owner but strictly novice and am hoping you have a nice chunky cob that doesn't mind if their rider is a wuss!!

Hi, Do you think that because I am 62 years old and overweight (14.5 stone) that I would be unable to go pony trekking at your centre. I had lessons for 18 months about 17 years ago and absolutely loved it.
