Visited with my Daughter and we had a great evening from start to finish. The Detective solved 'our case' (although it wasn't the one we originally submitted to the website) in character and with humour. We loved the entrance through the secret door and the cocktails were very good and we thought they were reasonably priced. Music was also great and the whole 'vibe' was spot on. Maybe the nibbles could be a bit more varied but overall a great experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for something a little unusual.

The Evan’s & Peel Detective Agency is a really cool place. The mystery is super and atmosphere amazing. Drinks are great as is the service. Marvellous concept and we will be back …must book a few seats at the bar next time.

Brilliant experience that's for sure. The atmosphere captures you when you ring the bell. You can get beer from a radiator. Great cocktails, lovely people!

Spend your money elsewhere! Me and my partner went here and it was the worst part of our trip! Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the food in the pictures! Me and my partner went for food only to be served it on a tea cup saucer! The atmosphere when we first went in was amazing, however the detective broke out of character and often was quiet rude and abrupt with us, the drinks and food were very expensive for what you received, it ended up being the worst part of our trip, the detective won’t continue the case you start at the beginning with him. Don’t get your hopes up for this place! Won’t be returning and definitely won’t be recommending this to anyone! This spot is definitely not a hidden gem!

Amazing. An experience from start to finish. From trying to find the door, pressing the buzzer, the amazing greeting from the detective, the tapas style food and the accommodating service. Could not fault it. All in a very reasonably priced, we were happy to pay the service charge because the staff go above and beyond. Highly recommend the tiramisu - as long as you’re not the designated driver 😉😉

Absolutely amazing experience. From the moment you ring the door bell and get met by a gumshoe to entering the secret bar area to the novelty drinks.
What you get is a wonderful memorable experience. From the atmosphere to the manager coming over to make you feel welcome to even being brough snacks to try from the kitchen.
Now a couple of things I wish I'd researched, first is finding the place, in true speak easy fashion the entrance is not easy to find, as you are just looking for a door that leads down. Next is coming up with a case to investigate. It makes the experience more memorable but can be hard to come up on the spot.
Highly recommend it and well worth going to.

My wife and I visited this place on a whim one Saturday night. Managed to book with only an hours notice and head over there. The arrival meeting is the mot entertaining part with an excellent act that welcomes you and entertains at the same time. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Great cocktails in a cool setting. Cocktails around £12 each and the menu offered a range for different tastes. Especially like the 'I need investigating' cocktail option which is where you specify short or tall, sweet or sour, alcohol etc)
Service was good for a Saturday night.
