Until this year, visitors had access only to the ground floor and garden. Now that the upstairs tenants have gone and the National Trust taken over, we have full access to the whole house, apart from staff rooms. There are two toilets, too, one downstairs and the other upstairs (when previously there were no toilets available). Outside, there is a tea garden sheltered by trees and bushes, really pretty on a sunny day. Or you can have your tea indoors in the adjacent tearoom.

When I visited there was a leaflet I think. I’ve looked at my guide books but cannot find one. There were lots leaflets around the house telling the history of items.

I didn't see any dogs there. I suspect they aren't permitted (other than support animals) because you have to go through the house to get to the garden.
