“Watch your step”

The views are great along this stretch of the South West Coast Path but the path itself is disgraceful. There was so much dog excrement that our eyes were focused more on the path than on the views. The Penzance Council should be ashamed of this portion of the path.

“Easy access, stunning views”

After starting with a hearty breakfast at Sullivans I headed towards the train station and St Micheals Mount. With the sea and views to my right I walked to Long Rock beach along the very well maintained costal path. Plenty of places to stop and relax, plus a hand mobile cafe at Long Rock carpark. Great little walk 1.75 miles each way, on the flat with views back to Penzance, Newlyn and Marazion. Well worth the effort.

Working way around South west coast path in bits. Walked lamorna cove to Marazion, lovely! Stayed in penzance, took bus to Larmorna Turn, walked down to Lamorna Cove to join the path, a few tricky bits but mostly fine, walked back to penzance from Marazion as it wad quicker than waiting for bus. Lovely galleries all around this area.

Good level well made section of the Coast Path.

Starting from Penzance station this was an enjoyable day out walking to Marazion and back. The path is quite level, so easy going, though you can walk much of the way along the beach as an alternative.
OK it is not the most spectacular part of the SW Coast Path, but the views, especially once you approach Marazion are great. There are a couple of stops along the way for refreshments, (we called into the Station House for a drink), also public toilets in the car park nearby. We also walked out to St Michaels Mount for a look around the harbour area, walking back across the causeway as the tide was coming in.
There are a number of places to eat, drink, and shop in Marazion before walking back. All in all a good day out.

Coastal path walk to Marazion

We walked the coastal path from Mousehole to Marazion, passing through Newlyn and Penzance. The path is an easy walk with some amazing views along the way. There are plenty of places to sit and admire the views along the way, with some cafes and toilets.

Deafening noises

The noises from passing trains are deafening. I wonder how anyone can enjoy this walk as this noise pollution makes this walk unbearable.

A Lovely Walk for Everyone.

A short but first class path giving access to everyone, including wheelchairs and pushchairs between Penzance and Marazaion. It can be busy at peak times, but users were generally courteous and considerate. There are several cafes and a pub en route for refreshments.

The walk / bike ride from Penzance to Marazion along the shore of Mount's Bay is breath- taking with views as far as The Lizard one way and Penlee / Mousehole Points the other. Flat and purpose built. A great way to reach the causeway to St Michael's Mount. Its about 3 miles of easy walking and nearly has access to the beach along its total length. Top tip - book lunch or dinner at The Mexico Inn , Long Rock ( halfway ) or The Godolphin Arms ( Marazion ) both very popular and great food or have a 'andsome pasty from Philp's Bakery ( Marazion Square). Enjoy.

A lovely walk

Though the path to follow is broken up by some road/pathway works this is a lovely walk along the seafront.

Worth the walk!

Definitely worth experiencing this one. Views were amazing while trekking.
Try to do this on low tide so to be able to walk as well the causeway going to St Michaels mount!
