Lovely street in Penzance with a great selection of eateries, independent shops and galleries. Well worth a visit for its quirky style, the Egyptian House, Artists Residence and 45 Queen Street.

Lovely street with interesting historical buildings.

Plenty of old shops and eating places to enjoy and at the end a steep walk back to the sea and car park. Don't drink too mush the path can be slippy

Possibly the nicest Street I saw in Penzance from my limited time there. Lots of historic houses and pubs like the Egyptian and chocolate housez

Great pubs - Admiral Benbow / The Turk's Head. Great and querky hotels - Artists Residence. Museums - The Egyptian Centre - art galleries and independent shops. Quiet and leads to Market Jew Street one way and the harbour /esplanade / Jubilee Pool the other. Look out for Helen Glover's gold post box.

Chapel Street is great with some excellent independent shops and some nice restaurants. Only wished that more of the shops (and The Exchange Museum) were open at the time of year we went.

Very interesting street with a number of historical buildings, quirky independent shops & a nice café & eating culture.

Amazing street to go through. Buildings were stunning. Penzance is a very nice town and this part of the town is a must see. The Egyptian house is also here.

Street with some nice shops and restaurants. The thing that makes the street stand out is The Egyptian House and the Admiral Benbow pub with a sculpture of a sniper on the roof. Nice to visit if you're in Penzance.

There were a few historical buildings worth seeing. Disappointed there weren't a lot of shops that were worth ducking into. There were a lot that have shut down following COVID.

As I don't believe in ghosts I wouldn't be the best Reviewer to help....but bits are pretty Gothic.

I have just written asking about a hotel /bb in chapel street think it was called the Georgian house I'm talking thirty years ago was run buy a del and Brenda had two boys Adam and darrell stayed there many times over 10/15 year period Brenda was my uncle niece ( would take forever explaining ) they ended up building there own house just outside Penzance and had swimming pool built hence where we came to buy ending up at new road newlyn then to marazion buying a house off a well known eccentric used to strip pine had like an assortment of ?? Like a Pandora's box what happened to him ended up leasing the trevenner arms omg I could cry why did we ever leave !! Anyway chapel street does anyone go that far back if I sat I could tell you things I remember what happened to the meaderys ? there might be a few around now but when they started don't think they realised what they had chicken to die for anyway the Georgian house .? If no one interested I'm just reminiscing (you do that part of life's journey) ha many thanks marsha
