Beach is lovely however parking is horrendous. Machines sometimes don’t accept coins and sporadic Wi-Fi to pay online results in a massive fine

Great open, large family, dog friendly beach with now a good selection of options to ear and drink around it, a lot of which are part of the Hotel. But give Wax a try, for great value food, drink and warm welcome from the team

There is something magical about the watergate bay coastline and cliffs, can recommend the cliftop walk to Porth Beach only a couple of miles and the views are great.

We discovered this beautiful beach approx 5 years ago. We loved how undiscovered it felt. However, just visited again in October and it is so very busy. We couldn't get into a cafe for a coffee ! They were all fully booked. There was nowhere to sit down ! We got a coffee in the end from a Portacabin type of place (the bear cub) ? It was nice but what a shame it wasn't a proper sit down place ! There's money to be made for a nice coffee shop down there ! The pizza place on the entrance to the car park didn't do hot drinks ? Which I think is ridiculous. We were disappointed this time , the area needs a good bit of up grading for visitors.

Came upon Watergate Bay beach whilst taking a drive around the local area upon arriving in Neqwuay. What a find. A lovely sandy beach with great waves. Very busy, but still plenty of room. The tide comes in fairly quickly, so the first day we had to keep moving our things, so try and find a spot a bit further back if you can!

A lovely beach when tide goes out it is a good size. We flew kites, rock pooled and chilled on the beach. Only one expensive shop by the beach with a cafe alongside. Drinks vendor also, but drinks are expensive. Top car park uses coins or different app to everywhere we had been so far. Lack of signal left many frustrated, as app couldn’t be downloaded!

3 day surfing experience. Good surf and lovely beach. Great coastal walk from Porth and onwards to Mawgan Porth. Toilets and food (though expensive) available.

Left car in car beach car park very tight spaces to find someone had reversed into my car obviously trying to get out £200 bill to get it repaired. Likely the red Vauxhall van parked next to it. No note left

This is a great beach, loads of space and the most important for us is its dog friendly!
Lots of space for the dogs to run and have fun.

Fistral is easy access, Porth also has this is flat and can park across the road.

Yes you can but it is not a flat approach, however car park is close by.

There are several in watergate bay ie a few metres from the beach. I have stayed in Beachcombers and Tregurrian villas and was happy with both, there are others in the immediate vicinity which look very nice
