Wangtianshu Scenic spot is not close to any other Yunnan towns but worth the extra drive to visit. Enjoyable spot to explore – pleasant and educational boardwalk through lush tropical rainforest. Liked the beautiful mural painting on the steps, a labour of love for sure. And of course the Skytree Corridor jungle bridge, great views from canopy treetop level – if vertigo and acrophobia doesn’t bother you!

We read the previous reviews and were excited to go and see the place. The scenery must have been truly beautiful. Unfortunately it has been gradually destroyed with plastic and noise. If you can escape the fake gorilla, crocodiles ....which are regularly shouting some weird animals sounds, you are probably near the coffee shop. There no less than 3 girls with microphone at their max repeat their slogan. The view from the shop is beautiful but the fact that you cannot even hear your own thoughts destroys it. , Even in the tree or in the furthest end of the path, you will hear the awful sounds of the megaphone of the “guides” coming from the other side of the mountain. It was heart breaking to see how nature was destroyed and how hardly any nobody were here for the peace or the beauty of this place. We went there in low season, I cannot imagine how bad it is in high. Finally if you are looking for animals there are some fish at the entrance and a couple of poor tortoises in the small cage next to the entrance....when my children asked why they were told that it was the only way to keep visible for the visitors. Sic. Finally note that it you want to do the sky tree path you need to pay 120 rmb on top of the entrance ticket!
