This church is the oldest in Salford. As it stands it is over 850 years old, but there has been a church of some description on the site for longer than that. If you like history it is well worth a visit. Look outside as well as in !

Went here because I was in the area having stayed at my nephew's in nearby Monton. Lovely place but the experience was not good as the moral amongst the congregation was low/poor and they seemed apprehensive. Perhaps they were unsettled by the minister who droned on about previous parishes throughout. This was not a great uplifting experience. I don't think I will waste another Sunday morning listening to self centred drivel like this. It became obvious how he had managed to work in many parishes. Think about it.
