It was a very rewarding tour : informative, interesting and very inspiring! Both garden owners have given us very sympathetic (also reporting failures) practical tips, which are very helpful. Enormous plant knowledge, practical implementation, impressive understanding of nature and climate-relevant experiences were the contents of the tour. It doesn't get any better. The subsequent café visit was great: great cakes and good coffee - also very nice care by Fr Gaißl. After that, shopping in the nursery with homemade plants!
We will be back! ... and can recommend every gardener to visit here for information and inspiration! Entry is definitely worth it!(where else can you get such field-tested information?)

Nice atmosphere, unfortunately only a very small piece of cake for €4, a cup of coffee without sugar cost €3.50. The garden hadn't bloomed yet and I wanted to walk through it. My request was met with a smackdown of '€5'. I gave a generous tip, it's clear that they need every penny. We won't be coming back.

The two owners have created a very interesting biotope that shows how a garden can be designed when there is hardly any possibility of watering. Plants that can cope with extremely poor conditions and still bloom and are very attractive. Especially in today's times, this is a source of inspiration for the further development of the domestic garden landscape. A must for anyone interested in gardening. Entry is €5 per person. A simple café attached to it offers homemade cakes and decent coffee.
