The building and the staff are wonderful, but I wouldn't recommend going to play shinny hockey unless you have experience. I wanted to start playing hockey because I had to stop playing the last one I was doing, but since I was new to hockey and not "AAA" level, most guys you'd play with during the week wont want anything to do with you. Since I wasn't on their skill level, I was made fun of, not passed to, was a target for slew-footing, and was overall ignored by most guys on the ice. INVISTA says that their shinny hockey is for all skill levels, however I was told not to come back if I can't keep my head up. Bit of a shame, since I've been an NHL fan for years, and now I have no where locally to play.

First of all the in vista centre is probably a great sports venue, but is sorely lacking when you have the original hockey hall of fame. We took our two grandsons who are hockey fans which turned out to be a major disappointment. I understand that it is donations that are accepted,but you could at least have someone there to explain things or at least have the interactive items which none of them did.the Don Cherry exhibit or the theatre wasn’t working all in all a total disappointment. Save your donations for church!!!!!!
