We hired Candia the driver/owner to take us out sightseeing for the day. We identified what we wanted to see before hand, temples, volcanoes, to see paddy fields, and try local food.
The car was spotless air conditioned, and he had a lot of knowledge. He gave us insight into his culture. Highly recomended

I’m a solo traveler and I stopped in Yogyakarta for the tour. I liked it and Candra is a great guide!

I was in Yogykarta when I met Chandra in order to rent a motorbike. The guy inspired me to ask him further questions. At first i wanted to fly to Surabaya and rent a car definitely with driver to visit Malang, Mt. Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall. Then I supposed to organise a flight to Banyuwangi and another car with driver and guide to Mt.Ijen.
Finally from Banyuwangi taking a ferry to Bali.
Well my first question was: could you arrange for me a trip where I can visit all those places and finally take me by the harbour in Banyuwangi if is not to expensive?
I must say the price was not forbidden.
... and he assigned me a fantastic driver, well not only a driver but also a guide and a good travelling companion. A young man named Bagus. He follow me in every experience (except Mt.Ijen forgive him for that🤣), he organised guides and cars for each of the Mountain. Well he took totally care of me till the harbour where he actually bought with his own money the boat trip to Bali.

I spent two very nice days with Candra as a driver from Yogyakarta. He took me on sunrice trip to Borobudur and Sunset in Prambanan in one day with plenty of interesting spots in between! Candra is an excelent driver with a nice car. He speaks good english and is a good guide. His service is highly recomended.

We had a really good time with Candra who picked up us from Yogyakarta to Borubudur and to Prambanan.
Kind, professional and always smiling, he is not only a driver but a person who makes you enjoy your trip and understand Indonesian culture! See you soon!

We contracted a taxi service with them for 2 and half days.
Our taxi driver picked us up at the airport and took us to Prambanan temple to see Ramayana ballet. As we arrived early the driver recommended us to have dinner in the restaurant beside the ballet theatre. Very good recommendation. He waited for us until the ballet finished to take us to our hotel Java Villas. Bamboo Tour office is just in front of the hotel.
The next day we contracted a complete day taxi Service to visit in the morning Prambanan temple and other smaller temples (Plaosan, Sambisari). In the afternoon we went to Borobudur including sunset and dinner. After dinner our driver Alfie, took us to Yogja.
The last day, we were visiting Yogja centre, bird market, water palace and Sultan Palace where we enjoyed a Gamelan concert. After lunch Alfir took us to Semarang where we had to take our flight to Borneo Island.
We fully recommend Bamboo Tour, very good service at a reasonable price.

We spent some beautiful days around Jogja thanks to Candra. We had no idea what to do, where to eat etc. but he had really nice suggestions for all of our requests. And we also went for a one day trip with him (just discussed it the night before via whatsapp-very flexible) and that was one of our best days in Indonesia. He really made our day. He took us to the main monuments as well as to some hidden places. It was just perfect! And all for a very reasonable price! We can't be gratehful enough for him!

Tono picked us up from our hotel and took us to Borobudur temple, Mt Merapi, cave tubing at Pindul, hobbit house and Prangritis beach. He was very friendly, knew exactly where to take us to take nice photos for us. We felt really comfortable having him to guide our trip. Reasonable price and we would definitely reach out to him again when we come back to Yogyakarta. @tono.supir.jogja
