Ardi made my day in Yogya! I was travelling as a solo female and he was more than just a tourguide- we became friends straightaway! puncutal, patient, fun, trustworthy, great english speaker- he brought me everywhere I wanted and showed me around. Book a day with Ardi and you will not regret it!

I visited Yogyakarta with 4 friends and Ardi was our guide throughout the entire vacation. He took care of us and was driving us around to the beautiful temples and waterfalls. We managed to experience the local dances, food and culture based on his recommend, which were not as popular as the other ones.
He took us even to taste real Indonesian food from a small restaurant , where food was divine.
It is hard to describe the hospitality with a few words. The genuine attitude, the care, the kindness all contributed to the amazing trip we had.
I strongly recommend the services of this company as besides Ardi, we had the chance to meet Dagmar, who was just as kind and funny as Ardi.
He recommended us another guide in Bali-Joni, who was just as reliable and good as them.
We left the country with full phones, hearts and unforgettable memories.
Forever grateful 💕.

Ardi and Jogja Travels were recommended by a friend who opined that you cannot ask for a more memorable time with a better guide.
My friend was right.
I spent 4 days exploring Yogyakarta and environs with a bespoke itinerary that continued to be refined as the days progressed.
Ardi is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and he went to great lengths to ensure that the areas that were of interest to me were addressed: I got to experience incredible sunrises, off-beaten-track encounters, and amazing local cuisine and, in the process, acquired an in-depth appreciation of all things Javanese.
I recommend Ardi and Jogja Travels unreservedly.

The tour guide called Ardi was really kind and also he knows a lot about the temples that we visited.

Our guide Ardi is the best, we booked the Sunrise & Borobudur Tample tour in the last minute during eid mubarak, and our schedule was super tight, need to rush to airport right after the tour. it was very difficult and we almost thought we couldn’t make it. We were so lucky to meet Ardi as our driver & guide, he used his connection to help us to be able in the first group to go up to the Tample, and picked up us right in the bottom of Tample. Everything went so smooth, we even had a little extra time for a souvenir shopping.
Thank you so much Ardi ! couldn’t recommend him enough!

Ardi is a great tour guide! We spent 2 full days with Ardi and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He is genuine, great to talk to and very insightful and knowledgeable. His love of his culture and history is immediately apparent and highly infectious, making your sightseeing all the more fascinating when you understand the deeper importance behind what you have come to Yogyakarta to see.
From my initial contact with Ardi he was great at giving advice and suggestions on how to spend our time in Yogya, and listened to what we wanted to see. We saw Borobudur, Prambanan, Powan temple, Mendut temple, Mendut Buddhist Monestary, had Luwak coffee and ate great local food all in a day and a half; yet never did we feel rushed, we took our time at each venue and the entire time felt relaxed, like visiting an old friend in their home town. Our only regret was we didn't spend more time sighting around Java with Ardi. But I would certainly be in contact with him again if we return to Java.

We spent two days in Yogyakarta with Ardi as our guide, and he was absolutely fantastic! He is friendly, very knowledgeable and interesting to chat with. There was never a dull moment, we chatted about all manners of topics throughout our trip! When he dropped us off at the airport it was like saying goodbye to a friend! Would definitely recommend contacting Ardi when in Yogyakarta!

I was traveling solo and booked this tour at the last minute. Ardi was my tour guide, he was wonderful! He picked me up from my hotel very early to see the sunrise from Bukit Setumbu and was very friendly (I felt bad because I was not at that hour!). I slept in the car ride to the sunrise spot. The sunrise/view was okay, probably much better when you could go up the temple at sunrise. But the rest of the day was great, we went to all the other smaller temples and was able to adjust the tour schedule to better suit the activities with the weather/my energy level. Ardi is extremely knowledgeable and discussed all sorts of topics with me, I learned a lot from him. I took photos of certain details at the temple and he shared the stories that they related to. Ardi also has a great philosophy about his work -- instead of going to work, he's going to "meet a friend". Be prepared to have a friend by the end of the day! Added bonus: he takes great photos and, as a solo traveler, the pictures he took for me were by far the best of my whole vacation!

This was a amazing day around Jogja! We have seen many things!
Ardi drove us everywhere we wanted.
He gave us good tip/ideas along the road what we could visit or where to eat.
Next time in Jogja i would book again for sure!
