Beautiful site and interesting tour. Vineyard slightly hard to find on GPS. Impressed by the shininess of new-ish structure an d equipment. Liked the eggs!

As part of a group of 17, we visited Domaine de Rocheville in early October and were treated to a very entertaining and informative tour of the winery and cellars by the owner, Philippe. Generous tastings of the Domaine's lovely wines followed (make sure you come by taxi!) accompanied by delicious French cheese and charcuterie. A great way to spend a sunny autumn morning!

This was our first wine tasting experience in France on this three week trip. Very pleased about booking this tasting! Very pleasant and knowledgeable young lady (with great English) provided us with a wonderful wine tasting. We found that all wines were quite nice and surprisingly very reasonably priced. We naturally bought several and three of them actually made it back to California into our cellar! lol Hats off to the wine maker and staff!

The winemaker Phillipe gave us the most amazing tour and wine tasting. We had 15 people and he managed our group with humor and wit. We finished with a fantastic tasting in their beautiful tasting room. Many cases of wine were purchased as we loved so many of them. I highly Recommend a visit and their wine.

We visited here in August, our host was very welcoming and spoke good English. The tour was very informative. The building is modern and sadly we didn’t see the troglodyte cellars - as seen in the photo, I believe that there is another tour you can attend to do this, but we were not aware of this on arrival. We also didn’t see the vineyard, it is located too far away from the winery, and I believe again that there is another tour you can book to see the vines. The wine is excellent quality and we did buy more than we intended! Our seven year old son was very happy as there is a small basket of toys for him to play with, the view from the winery was beautiful, so peaceful.

Indeed, we also organise visits of the troglodytic cellars and vineyards, but it's always best to book ahead, especially in August.

What a great tasting experience. The wine was excellent and the staff could not be more welcoming and generous with their time. They spoke great English which was very helpful for our group. We learned heaps about the Saumur wines. A real highlight for us.

We had a nice couple of hours here on a 10 Euro each vineyard tour & tastings.
Our lady guide was very helpful & friendly & we sampled some decent wines too.

Owner is welcoming and passionate about what he does. They make some very nice Saumur and Saumur Champigny. Worth a trip to Saumur to tour this winery.

What a place! Can’t recommend this enough!
There are a variety of tours to choose from - we chose the 3 Eur per person self tour around the vineyards (perfect if you have arrived on bike!) which also includes 3 wines to taste (of your choice) upon return to base. There are reds, whites, a sparkling white and a Rosé to choose from.
The outside seating area offers lovely views.
Nathalie, our host, was so informative and her English is faultless! The nicest person we’ve met on our travels to date! She even dropped our wine purchases back to our Airbnb in Saumur (to save us lugging them back by bike!) Service like this deserves a mention 😊
