Loved the Barbera, was disappointed in the Barolo. nice view, very modern winery, I personally prefer quaint and old world. Something was missing....

I have been already 4 times at this winery and every visit was a wonderful experience. Warm welcome, impressive cantina (visited also the private collection of Domenico) and most of all excellent wines.

A real winery tour - not just a rasting

The Enologo named Oscar Arrivabene was our guide through the new (since 2011) winery. He presented Domenico Clerico's history, philosophy and practices (still changing) and provided a complete tour of the facilities as well - don't miss Domenico's private cellar on the premises. Then to the tasting room where it goes without saying that the experience was wonderful. Two things to remember are: the address given by Trip Advisor and Google lead you to Domenico's house. Substitute number 22A in your GPS instead of the 67. You get close either way, but might as well be exact. The winery ships (not all do) and the cost of shipping is much less than the often used MailBox company with offices in cities like Alba. Have your hotel call for reservations for the tour. Giorgia will answer and help give you a time that works. This tour/tasting was as good as that of Elio Altare (La Morra area) our previous first choice.

An excellent winery
Cantina Domenico Clerico is one of the best wineries to visit. A tradional Cantina (winery in the local language) that shows the continueous improvements throughout the last 40 years. excellent wines, hospitality and overall visit!

When ordinary is not enough...

Have been here several times, at the new winery.
This is so different than the rest, yet there is still an ooze of quality and passion.

Giorgia, our lovely pro into the wine and tasting took again very good care of us.
Domenico visited shortly and proved that he is the nestor
