The Limpsfield Cookery School is an exciting but informal cookery school, founded in 2020 by owner Jacqueline Derbyshire. It is designed to teach both complete beginners and experienced cooks new cooking techniques. We have a range of experienced chefs on-hand to help develop your confidence in the kitchen. We look forward to welcoming you to our homely cookery school !

Fantastic pasta lesson with Valentina Harris

Had a wonderful time learning how to make pasta. Jacqueline and the cookery school staff are so welcoming and friendly and Valentina is so knowledgeable and entertaining. We produced some amazing food and took lots home. My family thought it was all delicious too! I will definitely go on another course and thoroughly recommend

Fantastic Cookery School

Had a fantastic day at the Venison butchery course with Matthew Skinner. Really informative in great surroundings. Learnt loads and even got to cook all the different cuts. Will definitely be back soon.

Fabulous dinner party at my house

Vikki and Jacqueline catered for my 22nd birthday dinner party at my house for 15 guests. We had canapés, ravioli, a trio of deserts and a birthday cake- all of which were honestly amazing! Vikki and Jacqueline were lovely, making the evening even more enjoyable. Will definitely be using the Limpsfield cookery school again!

Great experience

I was on the French Desserts full day course and had a wonderful day. Oliver the chef was a great chef and teacher. We learnt to make Tarte Tatin, Crepe Suzette and Souffle to name a few. Really enjoyable day and a delicious lunch.

Best Cookery School! With fabulous ready meals

Amazing homemade ready meals, that are soooo delicious!! So many courses to choose from, and Jacqui is an amazing host! I highly recommend. And will be coming back soon!!!

Fabulous French patisserie course - highly recomend!

Such a lovely cookery school - a warm, friendly atmosphere and a simply fantastic French patisserie class! Lucie helped us create beautiful entremets which I could never have done at home (except now I can as she explains everything brilliantly!). On top of that, we had a delicous lunch served by Jacqui too -absolutely faultless. Will hopefully be back very soon!

A wonderful girls birthday party class

My daughter and 8 of her friends recently had a birthday cookery class. They had a brilliant time and all came away with achieving and then enjoying a fabulous chocolate cake.
As a parent, it took the pain out of hosting and clearing up the mess! Jacqui provided a wonderful tea, made them all welcome and all in all some great memories were made.
Tailored made to your child, I can’t thank Jacqui enough for her patience and making it such a fun morning.

Exceptional cookery school!
Des 2021
Attended the Edible Italian Gifts class with Valentina Harris and had a wonderful day. Made 5 different types of 'sweetmeat' and had a delicious lunch. Everyone was relaxed and welcoming. Attention to detail is outstanding.

Italian Winter Feast with Valentina

Brilliant cookery course with the fabulous Valentina. The team at Limpsfield Cookery School were so welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and left with bags of food and a very full tummy! Amazing. Thank you!
