Place needs substantial upgrading.
No air con in restaurants

Seems to focus on mother’s and children who want to sit, chat and play.

So let me start by saying we a frequent visitors of the priory farm estate and have many times enjoyed their discovery walk, farm shop, gift shop and garden centre. All of these normally I would rate 5*. However, I’m writing this to warn other parents in the same position and will also be contacting the estate directly as well as todays visit was the worst service I’ve ever had there. My three year old started saying she was hungry for lunch so we said we’d go in the cafe to all get some food. We’ve been there for breakfast or afternoon tea before and they’ve always been great at making dietary accommodations. This time the lady on the till said the same not a problem they could do her egg on toast. But no once she spoke to the chef they flat out refused to cook her an egg and instead said she could have chips. My daughter is allergic to cows milk and this was made clear to the chef but still a flat out no. So we’ve now got a screaming three year old who’s hungry. Absolutely disgusting. This isn’t a fussy child it’s an allergic child! What a joke, rather than spending your money refurbing the garden centre try getting the basics right. I won’t go in your cafe again.

wrong time to visit as garden centre undergoing ground works atm. Cafe was good but quite expensive for coffee and cake. Loved the farm shop over the road.

The cafe at Priory Farm is my favourite place to go for a delicious brunch. The food is always excellent. The Pancake stack is terrific. It's a nice space. Due to its popularity, it does get busy. which makes it noisy. But in the summer you can use the outside space and enjoy the lovely view.

Fantastic cafe with great food, we come here regularly as it has such a nice atmosphere about the place. The staff are fantastic bd very friendly. John is an absolute gent and is very welcoming and can not do enough for you. We would highly recommend this place

Had the most delicious vegetarian breakfast today at Priory Farm. The food was piping hot and exceptionally tasty. Beautifully clean restaurant and the nicest polite, friendly staff.

We visited on 29th December and had a good experience on the Christmas trail. However, a very poor experience in the restaurant. Seeing there was a 40 minute wait time for food, I opted to just buy my sons a pre-made children’s lunchbox. The queue was nearing the entrance to the restaurant, and only 1 functioning till. I couldn’t believe that, even after 20 minutes’ of queuing that some people in front of us had still not made their minds up on what to order when they had reached the front of the queue. The young lady serving, rather than managing the queue, and asking these particular customers to step aside to finish making their decision, whilst she continued serving, just stood there and was even joined in laughing with the customers, at the rest of the our expense, waiting in the queue, whilst the customers mockingly said they were the worst customers ever. I found it a disgusting insult, whilst waiting with my Autistic child who really finds it difficult to wait in a queue for so long. I asked the young lady serving if I could just pay for my sons’ meals and she rudely just ignored and looked straight through me. I will never visit Priory farm’s cafe again after this, as they are so ill equipped to deal with the demand and for the lack of customer service.

This cafe was a great find! We went to visit Santa at the garden centre and to go on the discovery walk and stumbled on this cafe on the way out! The customer service was great and everyone in our family can’t have dairy and one also can’t have gluten. They were accommodating with the allergies and pleasantly surprised us. They had a range of options for allergens and we had no problem with the food! It was great and we will be going again soon!

Visited the restaurant in the garden centre - fantastic. why? - good food, GREAT coffee, and GREAT customer service. Coffee was so good I had 2 lattes!! Lovely staff, especially the gentleman clearing the tables and serving the food. Definetly will visit again and recommend.

We went for coffee and lunch. The food was lovely, well priced. It was busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait long for our coffee or food, They have a great asset, the gentleman who serves the drinks and food to the tables. So polite, cheerful and helpful. I can see why it is a popular coffee shop.

Is it SAFE to actually walk from the 410/ 400 Bus Stop on the main road. That winding road in seems extremely dangerous or is there a 'hidden' pathway.

Yes it is safe but on wet weather be careful and look out for traffic too.
As you follow a small path away from the main road cross over to a triangle area of grass and trees. Some locals will follow the road to the farm but you can use one of 2 cut through’ from the triangle area to join a grassed path to the farm. Wear sensible shoes as the ground will be uneven.

There is a bus 410 that will take you to the top of Nutfield, stops outside the memorial hall. Literally a 5 minute walk from there
