This beautiful Villa on the top of the hill downtown the city was built in 1750 by Abbot Ferdinando D’Adda a descendent of millenarian family D’Adda which has its origins in the 8th century. The Villa has a typical architecture of those years with some liberty characteristics added during centuries . Wonderful the park with centuries-old plants

I went to visit the Villa, opened and renewed this year. The restoration is good and you can see nice rooms for dining, playing games, chamber music playing and so on. On the lower level, there was also an exhibition of painting. From the windows you could see wonderful view if the park. It was really a pity that the glasses were dirty and construction machines and containers full of debris were left just in front of the views. Not worth the 10 € ticket in my opinion.
