Great Tour Great Value

Yesterday we did the explorer trip and had a great time.
We meet one of the guides first in the local cafe so we got a great low down on the trip.
The team were great the whole time, we got informed about everything in Italian and in English (Thanks as I don't speak much Italian)
Bring a mask and snorkel so you can enjoy the free swim time, beautiful clear water with a heap of fish to see.
The walk on the island was informative and great to know the history of the area.
Awesome few hours and would do it again for sure.
Our 3 year old son loved it and as we pulled up at the wharf at the end of the tour he wanted to go again.
If your in town make sure you do this tour.
Thanks guys for a great trip, see you next year

The trip is organized in professoonal way, taking care of guests' experience and safety. The journey starts with informative briefing, a visit at the local fish market and at a storage room of historical fishing tools. The boat trip is great fun, with the transparent hull. Must say though that my kids' expectations to see a lot of fish through the hull windows, were not met.
The guided visit on the island is of great interest wrt local history and culture, but please take a hat on your head and lots of water, it feels like a desert out there, we turned half way due to my kids becoming exausted by the heat. Also, my hope to visit the old tower on the island was disappointed, but I can guess it is not safe to enter it, it looks quite decading.
Back on the boat, the guests are offered a taste of locally produced pizza/finger food and wine. There is time for a refreshing swim and on the way back to the harbour, the boat approaches a fishing boat so you can see fishermen in action.
I strongly recommend this trip to anyone interested in spending few hours at see and learning about local history and culture.
The staff has proven being professional in handling their guests.
Not sure if the guided tours are given in other languages than italian, you should ask before you book.

My girlfriend found this on Facebook and booked for a visit to Isola De Femme. To start off this is very cheap ride on boat that can allow to unravel the deep sea secrets. The staff is extremely friendly and treated us with a glass of wine and cheese in the boat ride. Eve though the island tour is a bit boring for me what excited is the boat ride the food and friendly welcoming staff on boat all for 5 euro. Even though we are living in mondello the staff has given us free ride from hotel to the port comforting our experience. Don't miss it
