during the low season and it was not very crowded, even some of the bars and shopkeepers were closed, but it still has a very lovely and beautiful environment, I fell in love with it and came back to walk this street as soon as possible
من در فصل لوسیزن اینجا بودم و خیلی شلوغ نبود حتی برخی از مغازه دار ها نیز بسته بودند ولی با این وجود محیط بسیار دوست داشتنی و زیبای داره , من که عاشقش شدم و حتی دوباره برمیگردم برای قدم زدن در این خیابان
من در فصل لوسیزن اینجا بودم و خیلی شلوغ نبود حتی برخی از مغازه دار ها نیز بسته بودند ولی با این وجود محیط بسیار دوست داشتنی و زیبای داره , من که عاشقش شدم و حتی دوباره برمیگردم برای قدم زدن در این خیابان

Been here when shops along walking street were all open. This place is AMAZING. Advice Pick your shop.

A lot of dogs.
But just try to ignore them.
Less people travelling so not very crowded.
Many shops selling souvenir, handmade bags.
Lots of shops accept debit and credit card.
No need to bring lots of cash with u.
Have halal food around also.

We strongly suggest everybody visiting Thailand to go to Koh lipe island!!! Beautiful clear blue waters, excursions, good food and friendly people! U can’t miss the walking street.....and please go to the Elephant restaurant....live music and eccellent food!

This is where you refuel yourself with good decent original Thai food and street food. You can also get souvenirs here and get yourself a relaxing massage after kayaking and hiking at Koh Adang view point.

I traveled to Koh Lipe a number of times. Once it had been a sort of secret jewel. It now has become an overcrowded and overcommercialized piece of beaches with two hills attached. Countless noisy longtail boats disrupt a 'romantic' stay at a beach, countless greedy locals try to milk foreigners' money with meaningless entertainment. I will need to find a replacement jewel.

Koh Lipe is a wonderful island for those who enjoy peace & quiet, tropical weather & exotic foods. Yes, it is tailored for tourists but surely that's to be expected. Plenty of foods to try mostly at good prices and there's plenty of bars to choose from too. This is the main thoroughfare on the island but there is another one that's not as 'touristy'. We really enjoyed the evenings here you just have to get off the beaten track sometimes!!

Nothing special. Nothing outstanding. Everything forgettable. It is what it is with a selection of shops, diving stores, restaurants and of course tattoo parlours. Not too many bars though! Watch out for the motos!

The central street has the name walkingstreet but could as well be named scooter street. It has numerous restaurants where I dont have the guts to eat... there are a couple that are really good. Bloom for coffee is very good.
