A wonderful welcome at a stunning private
traditional members club lovely club house
and a golf course in superb condition a great credit to the green keepers the staff were charming and the food and service was excellent

Played in an event here and found the course excellent with well maintained fairways and fast greens. The lunch was outstanding. Friendly helpful staff. Recommended

This is a top 100 course designed by the renowned Harry Colt in the 1920s.
The course is well known for its good greens, excellent bunkers and the wonderful carvery lunch (and fantastic puddings!)
Not the cheapest round of golf but well worth the green fee!

Tandridge is both an interesting, well designed and challenging course. Sitting on chalk it naturally drains well so is not overly affected by wet weather. The first nine is relatively flat but the back nine drops into a valley creating a great 14th where the tee is set on the edge of a steep hill and you appear to be driving into a void.
The Club House is a traditional style building with a lovely sun terrace and top class catering and a well stocked bar.
The Pro shop offers a good range of gear and advice. Lessons are available to non members. They certainly helped my game!

Recently restored by Frank Pont refreshing Colt's original design and strategy it is a great test of golf. With most of the course on greensand it drains well and so plays well through the winter months - at the moment the greens are quite exceptional.

The course is a favourite and one of the best in the Home Counties.
When played in October the greens were excellent if the fairways were very wet and, in places, muddy. The last 5 holes are memorable.
The carvery meal afterwards was something else.
Choice of 3 roasts, huge selection of vegetables and this before an excellent starter.
If you had room left the display of desserts was mouth watering ranging from the reasonable not-too-waistline-troubling (like Summer Pudding) to the life threatening Sticky Toffee Pudding, and everything in between. To finish there was cheese and biscuits.
The largest of appetites will be sated here.

I have played here for probably 30 odd years. This is my father's course and I love it. It used to be rather stuffy - I was once sent home when I turned up in my TR6 and did not have a jacket to go with my shirt and tie. Things have changed though (slowly I might add). I understand the food is still fantastic - always was - and the beer is always good. But for a golf course...wonderful. Lots of variation, and (thank the Lord) no water. I played here in October and had my best round this year (no water :)). The 14th tee is beautiful (despite the changes made by the Dutch landscaper in recent years) and I would recommend to any golfer wanting to play a traditional and old English course. Ask to see the original members book from the 19th century (ie need more parking spaces for the horses etc), and make sure you bring your jacket and tie......

We hold our corporate day here each year, this year it was the day after the whole of the South East was flooded! Tandridge however was still open for business and in really good condition, although the bunkers were out of play this news was accepted well by our players..
The course is excellent, the staff can't do enough to help and ensure everything runs smoothly and the lunch is legendary - by far the best carvery I've ever eaten. We look forward to playing the course again next year, hopefully in better weather.

Went here with a golf society for the 3rd time. For this time of year and considering the weather the day before the greens were in fantastic condition. Attractive Parkland course, and a real challenge. The carvery was superb, and the puddings are to die for! The club stewart and the starter were excellent, in fact all the staff were good. Only blot was there was no hot water, which was a shame. However if you get a chance to play here, jump at it!

Our sincere apologies for the lack of hot water during your visit and I can explain that the club boilers were being changed that week which did cause some distruption to our normal customer experience.
