One of the few Bal (Child) Hanuman temples in the country. Legend has the Pandavas constructed the temple after winning the Mahabharata war. Saint Tulsidas wrote the Hanuman Chalisa and Emperor Akbar sent a lot of gifts to establish respect for a multi cultural religious society.
The inner sanctum apart from the main Hanuman ji idol has beautiful statues of Shri Ram- Lakshman ji and Sita ji along with showing Radha Krishna in their majestic glory.
The other thing , I like about this temple is that there are mini temples of various Gods and Goddesses
The temple is very clean and well managed
🙏🙏🙏🙏

The temple is very well maintained. One of the oldest temples but the upkeep until today is good. We didnt catch much crowd on the day we visited and so we had a very good darshan of hanumanji. The idol is very unique and felt powerful.

Lord hanuman temple is one of the oldest and most visited one in Delhi. It is very clean and well maintained. No vagabond no beggars now. If you’re visiting here on Tuesday or Saturday then plan your visit in first half of the day specially early morning.

Located at a walking distance from Rajiv Chowk metro station, it is a very old temple. You will find huge rush if you visit on Tuesdays, it is less crowded on other days. There are a few tea and snack stalls just outside the temple.

Many people visiting this old temple of lord Hanuman.Come on any Tuesday you will see a serpentine line even at 10 pm in night. However, there is no shoe stand and you have to keep your shoes in open with any vendor sitting outside. Prasad shops are around the temple. Besides lord hanuman there is also a temple of Lord Shiva nearby. Parking is a big problem here add to this so many beggars roaming outside the temple.

The temple is generally always crowded with many vagabonds and beggars shouting for your attention. It is an old temple but not very clean. The food court nearby has great options for snacks including Kachoris.

The Hanuman Temple located on the Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place is a very old Hindu Temple .It is believed to be of Mahabharat times. Devotees starts visiting this temple since early in the morning. On Tuesdays and on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, you will find maximum rush of the devotees there. I really get a divine feeling after visiting this temple. During the day time ,you can find lot of monkeys in the temple surrounding. There are few sweet shops and snack shops where you can buy Prasad and delicious Kachoris/Bread Pakoras respectively. On the opposite side of the Hanuman Temple, at the same Baba Kharak Singh Marg, you can see all the state’s emporium where you can buy some very good stuff of other states too. There is a huge NDMC parking close to temple where you can park your vehicle.

The Hanuman Temple located on the Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place is an ancient Hindu Mandir and is claimed to be one of the five temples of Mahabharata days. It is frequented by Hindu devotees in the capital and is crowded on Tuesdays and holidays. It is dedicated primarily to Lord Hanuman though there are other deities as well. One can procure Prasad from shops outside and dedicate them to the Lord. A divine place to visit and have darshan.

The Jutta Ghar (Shoe Store) at the Hanuman Mandir is not functioning. There was no one to attend at that time. So people either leave their shoes at the door step or with the small shops of phulwalas ( flower sellers) and others.
